I have seen some discussion on the Maintenance Management module here, but I am looking specifically for anyone who has had any experience with setting up the module. We are in the early stages of looking into this module and I am looking to keep down setup costs by installing and setting up myself. Has anyone had any experience with setting up the module for basic use in the past? We are currently running on 10.2.600.40 on premise. Thanks
We have a customer that wants us to produce Product A. During the manufacturing process Product A needs to go through heat treat operation. Product A is serial tracked and the raw material used is lot tracked from receipt from supplier. The customer is requiring that a Tensile Bar (Product B) which must be from the same original raw material lot as Product A and is on another job, must go through the same heat treat operation (the 2 jobs must be combined in the same furnace load). Both of these jobs would be in WIP at the same time. Product B would not be in stock. We do not do Make to Order/Make Direct but Make to Stock. We could do a Make Direct for this, but it still will not solve our same furnace load issue to bring the two WIP jobs together for the heat treat operation and be scheduled to run together. In trying to test Batch job to see if this would solve our issue, the Batch checkbox was not enabled, so assuming that because our finished good part is serialized, that is causing f
I am 99% complete testing my ACH payment and I noticed my NACHA file only has payment 1 of 2 for each of the suppliers I paid 2 test invoices for. The Remittance Advice & Pos Pay shows two invoices/total for both, Supplier Tracker payment history shows the total. My NACHA file only lists the first invoice for each. Anyone run into this or have any idea if it’s a configuration issue? I think it might be my file. This is beyond frustrating - started this process 5 months ago.
For a given manufactured part is there a report that will calculate delivery date based on lead-times for build, test, pack, and purchased components ect? They basically are looking for a BOM/TimePhase/MulitLvL Pegging style report that given a Part and a Start Date it will drill down into all aspects of “creating” it up to and through shipping it out.
Migrating via re-implementation to K22.1 via DMT When we do the cut-over of the non-transactional Pilot to Live, then load the open jobs, I’m hitting a road block and can’t remember how to solve it. What I expect:Initially load JobAsmbl records with no parent, peer, or child fields included, and no Related Operation included. Then load the JobOper records. Then load-update JobAsmbl again, this time with only the required fields plus Parent, peers, Child, BOM sequence and level, and RelatedOperation. The assembly records would then have their proper structure in the loaded job. What’s actually happening: On the Update run, DMT seems to load the update JobAsmbl records normally, no errors. But the job assemblies are still flat in Job Tracker. In one job, assembly 5 should be a subassembly of assembly 2 but it is still shown under parent zero. What I’ve tried so far:Load without Bom level and sequence fields Load without RelatedOperation field Run conversion workbench pointer fixes b
We are trying to figure out how a date on an invoice changed. A customer shipment was done in Nov 2022. For some reason a copy of the order and pack slip with shipping info didn’t get to accounting until early January, and a invoice was created in January for the shipment. a week later looking at the invoice it says the invoice date was 11/7/2022, which is when the shipment actually happened. Why would the date on the invoice change? Wondering if the functionality of invoice causes this, or if it is a bug or if someone would have to manually change it for this to happen. Just wondering if anyone else has seen this happen and can explain why or how it happens.
Is there any way for MRP to consider sales orders on customer or credit holds?

We are upgrading to Kinetic from 10.2.700.14. The external dlls we have are currently on the .Net Framework 4.8. Kinetic is net standard 2.0. Does anyone have experience upgrading these dlls?We are getting conflict errors between the framework and core Microsoft dlls. Specifically, EntityFramework. In the error it states to use the framework net standard 2.1 but this goes against the version that Epicor uses which is 2.0.Any advice or tips would be appreciated. Unfortunately, we have many processes that depend on this external c#, so its a must that we upgrade them. Thanks!
For rather complex reasons, I want to get the current environment name in a customised dashboard. The closest I can find in Object Explorer is MainController.Session.AppServer, which I can extract the environment name from as it is part of the AppServer string, but this is not recognised when I run the code checker, and nor is any other member of MainController.Session. Can anyone point me in the right direction?ERP 10.2.700Kind regards,Peter
Hi We are migrating from Epicor 9 to Kinetics in the Cloud. Below is how we would put security on the various master tables . Is this still the way to restrict this type of access? Any suggestions/recommendations are appreciated. Thanks
