We are looking to duplicate the details (apptrans,invoicenum….etc) in two section on our check forms. I have seen where the answer is ‘make a sub-report’. The question where can you insert this sub-report to show the details, other than in the details section? If i make a copy of the chkprint report, suppress all the fields I don’t want to see and insert it into the report it will either not show up, or just duplicates the data in the details section like line 1.. line 1 then line 2.. line 2. It is grouped by invoice number in the report and sub-report.
Does anyone have a working CR that this has worked on. I see a few SSRS examples, we are not there yet and wont be for a while.
