We are attempting to load our MS-Access Fixed Asset database information into Kinetic.
Has anyone loaded the Fixed Assets module with data from an outside source? If so, did you use the DMT process or the Fixed Assets Import process?
What are the pros / cons of each method?
Is one process preferred over the other or is one process better to use?

I loaded my assets from Sage FAS in 2017. I used the DMT tool. I don’t recall why I chose DMT over the import process. If you have any questions, please reach out to me and I will try to assist.
I’ve only navigated from an excel spreadsheet to Epicor. I found DMT to be a bit clunky but you do have more control with DMT, you can add small amounts of data at a time. Where with the import process, all data has to be entered correctly then a mass upload is complete. I do prefer the import process over DMT.
There also is the option to enter one asset at a time. You can enter this as an inter-group addition in Asset Addition Entry - it’s the function at the bottom of the screen (no financial transaction is created with this process).
