My collogue and I have been using Epicor for 6 months (replacing two others).
We continue to struggle with the MRP generated suggestions related to PO’s.
Would anyone be willing to share their settings with a brief explanation as to the benefit?
Is there a good practical resource available on this topic?

Would you be willing to talk to my team and tell us what you are experiencing .. We are a Epicor Consulting Company, looking for users like yourself who find glitches and errors in Epicor.
ANSWER: MRP will create Planned Order or PR. It will not directly create PO.
Alternatively, PO can be automatically created from PR using tcode ME59N.
But for activating automatic creation of PO from PR some settings are required in material master and few other places.
If this is pertaining to your requirement we can give the details of the same.

We are not looking for automatic creation of Purchase Orders...we have suggested orders, but the messages and “decisions” to create a PO vs. expedite, etc. are difficult to follow.
