Hi there EUG Team!My company currently uses two alternate systems (other than Epicor) to obtain electronic approvals for job execution/travelers. Ideally, this is done within Epicor to streamline the process and keep a single source of truth. Does anyone have any experience with implementing an approval system for Jobs Travelers prior to them being executed/released within Epicor? Interested to hear others’ experience with approval of production job travelers and what works well within their company. Does anyone have a job approval workflow within Epicor and if so, did it require a significant customization? Hello EUG, We are testing/launching use of Alternate Methods to display the Manufacturing BOM when launching Jobs. We selected “Use Alternate Methods for Parts” in Engineering Workbench and MoM was still showing the Base Revision (Engineering BOM). We also selected this when launching the Job. Any ideas on how to make the Alternate the default? Any companies use this with success?
Hello, My company uses Epicor Kinetic. I have noticed something peculiar and concerning. When a subassembly is revised, the out of the box indented BOM report is not exploding the child (it is set to View As Assembly) or pulling the latest revision of the item. The previous revision is Not Approved, but the latest is. I tried up-reving the parent assembly in case it needed to be updated for visibility of change to the child assembly to no avail. We have “Use Part Rev” as default for all our items. Has anyone experienced this? What settings in the backend ensure latest is always pulled by default? Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Hi All, I am looking to scope out project to link/integrate our CAD (various)/PLM (Windchill) to Epicor. Anyone who has implemented it, have there been major roadblocks, issues, or recommendations for planning they could share?
