E10 - Segment Description Change for Trial Balance Report Summary

I am trying to find where the “Description” is pulled from on the Trail Balance Report - Summary.I’ve changed the General Ledger Account Maintenance and Account Segment Values, but it does not update the “Description” in the Report.If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate your input.

Multi-Company And Customer Sends One Check For Both

K22.1We have two companies with the same address and phone number, and one of our customers routinely sends a single check to pay our AR for moneys owed to both companies.  What are some approaches you and your AR team members have used, to receive the cash into Epicor in the multiple companies?Thanks,...Monty.

Maximize Use of Epicor 10...?

Small manufacturing company using Epicor 10.  I am being asked by upper management on ways we can fully utilize the power of Epicor 10.  The thought is that we are not using it to its full potential.In order to answer that question, I would first think that I would need to have someone identify all current pain points, and then address those pain points using a solution in Epicor.I have very limited experience with Epicor, and just looking for some input/guidance on how to handle answering such a question. I know this is a broad and general question, but any input/guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Diallowed delete PO but not Po Line

Has any one done this? Do not allowed user to delete PO number after is has created, but allow to delete any PO lines. I done through Service security and user cannot delete either PO Number or Line.

Hello,I am looking to create a query that pulls Sales Order Header attachment information. I am being requested to look for a string in the attachment description. The attachments themselves live on a file server, but I’m wondering if this is even possible in 2023.Thanks in advance!

Traveler Approval - Functionality

Hi Everyone,Has anyone got any experience with Bartender and network printing? We are implementing shop floor right now our setup is as follows:* Android Samsung A8 Tablets for production using Web based MES* Bluetooth Datalogic scanners attached to each tablet* Wifi Zebra printers networked via wireless to server with edgeagent running on the server*Zebra TC22 hand scanners for picking/warehouse running epicor android mobile warehouse.So we purchased Bartender 2022 for designing and running all the labels we require for purchase receipts, production and quality. We are using operational tags to replace our current job cards/need for job travellers.I can print using network print options to test an output if the file is an SSRS report but i cannot use network print to print a bartender label (i should be able to select the network printer that will then map this into the output BT file and subsequently then print to the network printer via the integration builder.) Standard Cost Calculation

We have recently upgraded to Kinetic 2022.2 from Epicor 10.1.After the upgrade we have noticed that the Standard Cost Rollup Calculation has changed. This is affecting nearly all of our parts, some with dramatic changes of Standard Cost. This issue appears to be related to how Setup Costs from lower-level items are treated.  Support agree that the code has changed in Kinetic 2022.Is this giving any others problems, or are we alone in this argument?

Credit Cards (PayPal) and Kinetic

We are currently on 10.1.400.38 and using Credit Card Processing through PayPal.As we test Kinetic SaaS for go live in the spring, it’s time to work on Credit Card Processing. I have a few issuesI’m in Credit Card Configuration and don’t see the Pay Flow Pro via SDM option on the dropdown for Gateway. When we initially testing Epicor 10.1.400 back in 2016, we had to change a config file on our server to indicate that we were in a test environment and then change it back at go live. How do we do that if we are SaaS? Can someone who has been through testing credit card processing in Kinetic SaaS give me some insight into how to get setup for testing?

Looking for an Epicor Admin

Hello All, We began the Epicor implementation process back in 2021 and went live in August of this year.  We have most of the systems set up running 10.2.700, but as we grow, we are looking for somone with Epicor experience that can maintain our system, get us updated to Kinetic, and recommend other modules that may be beneficial.   I can provide more information if anyone is seriiously interested.   Thank you!

REST Access Scope and BAQs

I’m having some trouble setting up an access scope that allows us to limited access to just a select list of BAQs through the REST API.  Are there any services and methods I need to explicitly add to the access scope to be able to execute these basic BAQs?When using an account this access scope is applied to, I am unable to search or access any BAQs.  If I remove the access scope, then I can search for and execute any shared BAQ available to the company I am in.

Create three unique parts from one material via a sub-contract operation

We have a situation where we create part A that is cut and machined then sent out of house to be cut into six pieces creating three unique parts B, C, & D with a quantity of 2 each.  Parts B & C are further processed to make parts E & F.  Part D is combined with the parts E & F to create part G that goes onto be machined to make the final part H.  We have setup parts E, F, & D as co-parts with Lot Sizing Multiple at 2 since Part A yields two of each part.  Parts E & F only require 1 of each part B & C and part G only requires 1 of Part D.  We do not have any operations on the job at this point only material.  We run MRP and it generates three job suggestions for parts B, C, & D for a quantity of 2 each.  MRP also creates job suggestions for parts E, F, & G for a quantity of 1 each.  MRP is doing what we want by suggesting making two of each part, supplying 1 of each to the latter job, and stocking the other ones.  We are wondering if there is a way t

Report Data Definition

I tried to export a custom report data definition this morning and the only option that comes up is a .xml file (see below), not a zip file with and RDL like previously. Last time I did this was last Wednesday 12/6/2023 and was able to get a zip file with the .rdl file then. Is anyone else having this issue?

Selecting Correct Quote Price Break

I have been asked to create a report showing the Actual Costs versus the Quoted Costs for every shipment.  We utilize Quantity Price Breaks in the Quote Module, so I need to be able to find the correct Quantity Break based on the Order Quantity.For instance, Quote Line has Quantity Breaks of 10, 20, 50, and 100.Order entered is for 60.  I need to get the information tied to the 50 Quantity Break.Are BAQ’s powerful enough to get specific quantity break I need?  Or do I need to pass all the info to SSRS and then narrow it down to the correct quantity break?Either way, has anyone ever successfully done this that can provide some guidance? Thanks in advance.

Refresh Kinetic Dashboard on a Timer

We have recently upgraded to Kinetic from Epicor 10.1. We have a lot of Dashboards that refresh on a timer. Although I can run the upgraded kinetic dashboards, they don’t run a timer. I have been told that with application studio, I should be able to add a dashboard-timer-set event. How would I use this to refresh a dashboard every 10 seconds? I can’t find this in any or the Application Studio user guides.
