Alternate Method - Make Default for Jobs

Hello EUG,

We are testing/launching use of Alternate Methods to display the Manufacturing BOM when launching Jobs.

We selected “Use Alternate Methods for Parts” in Engineering Workbench and MoM was still showing the Base Revision (Engineering BOM).

We also selected this when launching the Job.

Any ideas on how to make the Alternate the default? Any companies use this with success?

@KelleyVF Are you utilizing MRP for your job creation? If so you will need to set the Primary Alternate Method in the part maintenance module

We selected “Use Alternate Methods for Parts” on the Alternate Method versus the Base Method.

This is counterintuitive to me, but we were trying both options before we knew about this field.
