Indented BOM Pulling Prior Revision

Hello, 

My company uses Epicor Kinetic.  I have noticed something peculiar and concerning.  When a subassembly is revised, the out of the box indented BOM report is not exploding the child (it is set to View As Assembly) or pulling the latest revision of the item.   The previous revision is Not Approved, but the latest is. 

 

I tried up-reving the parent assembly in case it needed to be updated for visibility of change to the child assembly to no avail. 

We have “Use Part Rev” as default for all our items. 

Has anyone experienced this?  What settings in the backend ensure latest is always pulled by default? 

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Are these existing job BOMs or just on method tracker where you’re seeing this?

What version of Kinetic are you on?  I’m trying to write an Indented BOM report as we speak.  Are you saying one exists in the software?  It must be a future version.  Kindly let me know the version you are working with.

Disregard.  I found it.  We were told by our consultants that it doesn’t exist and we would need to write it ourselves which is what I was assigned to do.
