Implementing Epicor CRM, re: Best Practices

We are in the process of implementing Epicor CRM, we run v10.1.  I have a few questions:

  1.  We’ve been running Epicor as our ERP for many years and have an extensive amount of data.  This seems to slow down the “Salesperson Workbench”, any suggestions here?
  2. Our Sales Force has specific Accounts vs. a Geography, any suggestions when setting up the “Territories” function that drives Tasks and Task Sets?
  3. As a Sales Manager, I think I want to establish Tasks and Task Sets around our basic processes.  However, I don’t want to slow the process and everyone down w/ checkboxes and etc.  Any recommendations on this challenge?
