My company automates manufacturing. We use both fabricated and off the shelf parts. Our assemblies are large and are made up about 1000 individual part numbers, not including subassemblies.
We currently have CADLink as our SolidWorks PDM to Epicor middleware using the QBuild suite. The QBuild suite has some good programs that we can use, like MBom. But, there is still quite a bit of manual work that has to be worked inside the program. We are open to possibly changing the middleware. What do you use? Why do you like it? Is there a different software you would have used?
