An announcement from Epicor on September 30th 2021 has detailed an agreement to acquire CBC Computer Systems and its Decor Fusion Point-of-Sale software for Paint and Decorating Retailers.
Epicor have said that the industry-leading technologies and staff will compliment and strengthen Epicor’s offering in the Paint and Decorating market. The new addition to the Epicor portfolio of products will be offered as part of Epicor Retail’s solution set.
CBC Computer Systems was founded in the late 1980s selling software into the building materials and construction market. The Decor Fusion software was launched in the mid 1990’s as ‘Decor 2001’ before being developed over the 2000s and being launched as Decor Fusion after a rewrite into Microsoft .NET.
