We use Kanban jobs to process cutting of foam in our facility. The kanban receipt automatically backflushes the four operations. Actual Prod Hours have been .04 on every single job we’ve processed. Just recently the Actual Prod Hours on the operation is showing 52 hours. There has been no change to the method or operation setup. Prod Standards, pcs/cycle, crew size, estimated hours, etc. all remaining constant.
Do you have any idea why actual hours would change? We do not actually clock in or clock out of the job. The entire job is created, transacted, and closed via backflush during kanban receipt.
