Can Epicor automatically generate transfer order requirements when the number of a part hits the Min? Thanks.

Yes….when a part is made/stocked at Site A and is supplied to Site B as a transfer part what you need to do is:

  1. Within Part Entry add the primary site (site A) and set it up as you require (manufactured, purchased, not-stock etc.)
  2. Add the secondary site (site B) and set in Type Detail that the type is TRANSFER and then select the site which will supply the parts
  3. Add a min/max level to the Site B record
  4. Transfer Orders/Transfer Order Suggestions etc. will be generated when MRP is run
