Has anyone used the Epicor cut list report sucessfully? What is it used for? The application help give a brief description but nothing concrete. Any feedback would be appreciated.

The cut list report has several uses - but it all revolves around the materials on jobs.
You can filter it by the resource Group
The best example is working with bar stock material, you would run the report filtering for the “Saw” resource group. for operations that are linked to material in the next two weeks.
The report would list, with page breaks, all of the part numbers that need to be cut,
So your list would show
- 1-inch angle is needed for the following five jobs.
- 2-inch angle, etc.
Another use would be with paint - if you put paint on the bill of materials, you will be able to find all oof the jobs that are being painted white in the next week, so you could schedule them together.

Hi Felipe, as Bruce described above the Cut List will let you group jobs by material. The main reason to do use is to reduce setup time or loading time. The quicker your change over timeis from job to job the less useful this report is.
