We need to change the Base Unit Price for one of our purchased parts in Supplier Price List, but when we try to save the record it throws this error. The Supplier UOM in the VendPart record is the same as on the Part record, so what is it trying to override?

It wasn’t exactly this problem; it was actually a subcontract PO issue we were having.  But it was driving us nuts until I did a search here, and found that Epicor doesn’t tell you an error has to do with a Unit Weight UOM, it just says invalid UOM.  Please make sure all parts involved have in Part Maintenance, not only inventory UOMs but also a Unit Weight UOM.

Also, watch the spelling on your UOMs.  I’ve seen EA (in UOM class Count) conflict with "E” (in UOM class SH-EA-LB throw an error similar to this one.

Thanks Monty, I checked but it hasa valid unit weight UOM. I managed to get round the problem in the end by deleting the price list entry and creating a new one with the new price.

Kind regards,

Peter
