K22.1, multi-company, multi-plant, classic screens
In company 2901, there are two books: Master (the Main Book) and INTCONSO. When we go into Journal Entry (GL Journal Entry) and click the New icon to create a group, the Book that appears is INTCONSO. We expect this program to default to the Main Book, Master, to avoid confusing the personnel entering the journal entries. Does anyone know what can cause this? Thanks!

What version are you using ?
We are on the latest version and I just did a test in my test company and I don’t have that issue.
Just to double check ? Did you have your MAIN Book defined as “Main Book” :

We are on K22.1, and yes we do have the master book marked as Main and it’s still not defaulting in GL Journal Groups created in the affected company. We have other companies in this same installation operating normally. We have opened a case with Epicor and have a session scheduled this afternoon to review it with them.
