Issue and Return Material with AMM

OK we are testing AMM in Kinetic, when doing Issue (to) or Return Material (From) it is asking for a warehouse which is presumably some sort of WIP Warehouse (Where you are issuing it to and where you are returning it from). Can anyone shed a light as to where this is setup?
