Does anyone know how the checkboxes in Job Entry → Job Details → Materials → Details for Purchase Direct / RFQ Needed work?
We are attempting to design a process for Prototyping new items we are being asked to produce. We were hoping by clicking this checkbox, a notification would be presented (somewhere) that our Purchasing team could act on and send out a RFQ for the required material.
Is anyone do this and if so how are you working with the Epicor software to make it work. We are currently running E10, but are testing this in our new Kinetic environment, so I am hopeful we don’t have something configured properly to make this work.
Any insight or thoughts are appreciated.
