Looking to see how others are providing live data to users? We are on SaaS, not sure if that makes a difference.
Currently, we are using OData connected to live and/or a PowerBI connection to a replicated database.
We have some concerns about OData because it hits our live database and is setup with a single account that we have to remote into the computer to enter credentials. Plus, we are unable to track what reports are connected to Epicor through OData. Are there ways we can track what is connected to Epicor via OData?
Does OData need a security manager level user account? Should we look into Access Scope?
The OData user account got locked out during our upgrade and we are unable to determine why.
