REST API v1 vs. V2 Performance

Hi everyone.

We have just started out with the REST API and since upgrading to 10.2.700 we have had a look at version 2 .

We have a very simple test which uses the Sales Order Service to get a sales order based on ordernum.

What we have noticed is that in V1 it is really quick sub second response time. With V2 we are waiting for 15-20 seconds for a response.

Anyone know what would be the cause of this difference? Would be interested to know if anyone else has a similar experience with V2?

Are you doing this in Postman?

Try Insomnia it’s a lot quicker than Postman I’m getting this in Postman

This is from Insomnia which massively faster.
