I’m trying to figure out a process for a new product that we might sell on a subscription basis. The product has a short expiration date so we were thinking of an annual subscription with monthly shipments.
In our brainstorming session we came up with the thought that it would be nice to notify the customer that their last shipment was just made.
One idea was an email notification. I’m thinking of a BAQ/Dashboard that looks for the PartNum and closed orders with a release shipped in the last week (or maybe use a date selector). We could grab the email address from the Customer record and email them.
Another idea was to put a flyer in the shipping box. But how does shipping know this is the last shipment on that order?
Any other ideas? We’d be in Kinetic when this starts.
