Does anyone have any suggestions on where to add a BPM or an example of when a user clicks and drags an attachment to a job, part, etc, I want to have a default Doc Type set without the user have to click in and edit the attachment. Would appreciate any thoughts.

View originalDon’t know if this is helpful to you or not. We have Reserved for Specific Tables checked in Document Type Maintenance, and then Document Types are associated with specific tables in Document Type Control.
That gives us a list of Document Types in the Attachment node of an entry program, like this one in Part Entry.
Now if we drag a pdf file from anywhere and place it on the correct Doc Type in the Part tree, it defaults to that Doc Type. You do have to click OK once to accept defaults, but that is easy enough.
