Hi,There’s probably a way to write it in the dashboard, but I’ve usually written it into the BAQ, using the phrase build, table criteria. The Filter value allows you to use a specified expression - then choose a BAQ Constant (like LastDayOfPrevMonth or FirstDayOfMonth). This will limit what you can pull into the dashboards, though. So the user won’t be able to change the date range beyond that year. There’s probably another way of doing it, but this seems to work for us. Trudie Coons
Hi! Are you using the Alternate Part Number? Here’s how we do it:1: Mark as Discontinued / Run Out - This is when there is still stock, but it will be discontinued. *When that part is used, the user will get a pop up saying that the part is going to be discontinued. The part can still be transacted.2: We also add the Alternate Part Number (mark it as the Default)3: When the part is out of stock, we put the part On Hold. Then if someone tries to transact it, the system will pop up stating that it’s on hold, but PN xxx is the replacement. If the user clicks OK, the replacement part number is then added to the sales order. (This only works for parts where the Alternate PN is marked as Default and Comparable)**If the part is part of a BOM, we use the Mass Part replace program to update the methods. Trudie
Yes, they are barcoded. I don’t know anything about Kinetic warehouse, does that have a different method for cycle counts / physical counts?
Have you tried using Forecasts on the materials? I import forecasts for our top 100 parts and set the forecast dates to 30 days. Ex. Forecast is made for part ABC on 9/1 for 1000 pcs. Any demand due within 30 days prior to 9/1 will reduce the forecast and if it’s not consumed by 9/1 that demand goes away. It also lets me run a report showing my previous forecasts and how much was actually consumed.Trudie
