Costing

Hello! I’m looking to revamp our current costing process and am interested in learning how other companies are costing and how they utilize Epicor to do this.Our company is an international manufacturing company with three primary divisions, employing less than 1000 people globally. So not a large company. Our primary costing method is standard but one of our business units is using last cost. One division is high volume production, the other division is a mix between high production and prototype work. Our third division we’re about to implement a costing process for, it is also primarily high volume production. Our inventory interface is on. I’m interested in learning the following:What method of costing do you use and why? Who is responsible for updating costing: engineers, accountants, others? What controls do you have in place? How often do you update costs, including burden rates? Do you use activity based costing? Do you use landed costs?Is anyone interested in collaborating?Any
