Can you elaborate on what the Quality Modules will cover? Is it a user, Epicor or 3rd party presentation? Will it cover Enhanced Quality, specifically inspection plans?

Our next meeting will be at Insaco on August 27. The topics will be Business Process Mapping (XSOL) and Quality Modules. We will do the XSOL presentation in the morning.

We have limited space in our conference room which I can handle up to 22 people, above that would need to be in the employee lunch room which will be shared with our production folks at break and lunch time. So I will need to know who is coming by Friday of next week. Cost will be $15 as usual.

I have two hours held on an SE's calendar for a remote WebEx on Quality. My thought was we would spend about 60+ minutes doing an overview of the base QA and Enhanced Quality modules. The remainder of the time would be spent fielding specific questions about these first two levels of Quality (Advanced Quality being the other but that is a bigger topic best presented by IQS directly).

I'm happy to collect a handful of specific quality-related questions or "like to see" items that I can give to Jerry to work into his presentation.

While talking inspection plans, I'd be interested in suggestions/strategies to prevent data entry errors. In one of our plans, someone inputs the serial number of a component part. Sometimes they enter the wrong number, but we don't know until someone tries to use that number again. Ideas to prevent the wrong number from being entered or ways to correct a mistake after the fact would be helpful.
