We have an assembly that has been returned via RMA which we disposed to a Job with one operation and one material (the assembly part number). What is the proper way to explode the assembly an put the individual materials back into inventory?

You can create a new part number called “RecoveredMaterials” that is a non-stock part, and put that onto the JOB as a material with a quantity 0… THEN you can go into Job Receipt to Salvage, and choose that RecoveredMaterials part number, but the change out the part number that you salvage to do the transaction. put in the correct quantity… you can do this over and over again for all the materials you recover.
