SSRS Training Information

Ok, we are going with Thursday Nov 6 at the Lancaster County IU. There will be no cost to register, but there may be a cost for lunch. The link will be available shortly. We are hoping to offer remote access as well for those who can't make it physically.

You will need to be registered for at least the free membership and subscribed to the CPAVUG group on the EUG website before you can register for the class. http://www.epicorusers.org

Doug has found a local provider Second Foundation who know Epicor that will offer SSRS training on Nov 6th (or 7th)

Just so we get what we want out of this training, He told them the following:

1. Everyone should be expected to already be familiar with databases (Progress, SQL, or Access)

2. We would like to see how to use SSRS to write reports in E10

a. Differences, if any for E9

3. Compare and contrast SSRS and Crystal

4. Basic reports to start, working progressively to harder reports as the class grasps the concepts.

They noted the following:

1. They will likely be able to provide classroom environment - E10 SSRS in the cloud for participants to follow along

2. Their class will not result in Epicor Certification in SSRS.

3. They are looking into options to provide virtual learning at the same time through GoToMeeting or similar.

The cost will just before expenses which will be covered by the CPAVUG surplus (we voted on this in Sept) it will probably be at the Eden Resort if available.

Please let us know which date works best for you and how many you'd like to come. Once
