We’re considering implementing a demand planning and inventory optimization solution. We started looking into it after a sales call from LeanDNA. I know that Smart Software is an Epicor partner with a similar solution. Does anyone have experience with either or these or other solutions and have any feedback you can share?

We use Smart Forecast but have not yet upgraded to Smart IP&O. That is where you will get the benefit of the Epicor integration, as well as a more user friendly interface and lots of new functionality. I’ve heard other companies using Forecast Pro, which is cheaper. It is not integrated with Epicor as Smart IP&O is. We looked at it several years ago, but decided the the Smart Forecast intermittent demand functionality was crucial for us. (It uses simulation rather than forecasts.)
