Hi BridgetWe have a factory in Jiaxing which is about 1.5 hours south of Suzhou. We use a mixture of consulting from Epicor China and a company called BIC. Overall we are happy with both but sometimes have to pick and choose to get the most appropriate person for the job. Epicor is in Shanghai and BIC are in Guangzhou but both regularly travel to our location without issue
Thanks. All seems ok at site level. Seems to be related to Container landed cost entry process which we use to track container movements but not use for landed costing
Well that road can lead down many paths and probably being best reviewed with Epicor or a SQL specialist but in the first instance check that you are regularly running index rebuild maintenance tasks at least weeklyIn the old days of Epicor 9 the system would naturally get slower as time went on. Not really had that in Epicor10. Its more like speed issues in specific places or specific times especially when you have external reporting using the data
Are you seeing specific issues because of it? Seems pretty normal to me yes. The application server holds transactions open for speed and will re-use them The command sp_who2 active will give you a (slightly) better insight into whats doing stuff
Thanks Sue. Sorry I havent come back on this sooner. This seems to be fine for a standard miscellaneous invoice however im trying to upload something for a received invoice line so I believe I need to supply the pack number and line so I get a 3 way match. Do you have an example of this at all please?
We use a Shoretel/Mitel on-premise solution though our provide NTS-Comms. Recommend them https://nts-comms.co.uk/0345 450 0333
Integrating with Epicor is a little tricky. It doesnt have any TAPI interfaces so you have to develop something custom and that works a lot better if you avoid Epicor all together. We call a web page that then retries the data from Epicor via REST/BAQ/SQL As for systems themselves, it depends on what the customer needs really. The key thing is do they operate a call centre type operation and want cool things like advanced call handling and reporting, IVR and automation. Do they want an on-premise system or cloud hosted If simple then you can probably look at cloud hosted services like 8x8 or even Microsoft Teams. If you want more complex then you may be best with the bigger branded on-premise providers like Avaya, Cisco or MitelWhat country are you in? Im in UK and can recommend some people to talk to
Luckily i’m testing that version today and yes I have the same problem
Hi Nickino knowledge on that im afraid but we use a product called FastClose which we love. Worth a look if similar to what you need www.fastclose.ukRichard------------------------------Richard GardnerHead Of ITNexus IndustriesTelford441952238141------------------------------
