We implemented Epicor in 6 plants over 4 years. I was one of the original core team members. Although the Maintenance Module was in our original software purchase, we chose to take it out of scope for the initial implementation. Now that we are up and running, I am going back to implement this Module of the software.
Did you just acquire the software or have you just not implemented the Maintenance Module yet? To stay on track with our implementation timeline, we chose the second path and are now going back to implement the Maintenance Module.
I am in the same situation.
Sorry, yes this was helpful and I will watch this again, there is alot to digest.
Bill,
Thanks Bill.We do own the module but chose not to include this in our original implementation. We have 5 plants all on Epicor and have worked through stabilization. 1 of our plants is using a 3rd party software and we would like to both harmonize and provide better tools in 2023. I have a conceptual overview of how it would be integrated and functionally similar to Jobs/Planning etc. However, I need to educate myself more on the configuration/set up in the most optimal way. Meaning, I get the resource tie in with the resources we set up already, however, maintenance would likely approach from a different paradigm Take a paint line for example, For MRP and planning this is one resource. Maintenance may look at it as electrical drives, wash stations, ovens, chains, spray booth etc. I believe there could be a parent child structure set up for equipment, I am just not familiar with it. Therefore, it would be nice to talk with a user of the Epicor maintenance module to see how to approach t
