Currently the only way we know to get the link between Requisition and Purchase order is to create the PO through New PO suggestions. There are times when we do not want to wait until after MRP/Generate PO suggestions are run and want/need to get the Purchase order created. Does anyone know if they is possible and how? Thank you When our users go into Requisition Entry and the REQ gets sent to Purchasing it immediately show's in New PO Suggestions. In your situation after a REQ was sent to Purchasing “/Generate PO suggestions” still needs to run manually or Via MRP to see the REQ in New PO Suggestions?
These are some promising leads. I also came across “manufacturing lead time calculation”. I need to dig into these and see if they will satisfy the the powers that be!
Where is the $200 EUG discount code? Also early bird registration discount?
This is great thanks! I am playing around with your original thought at the moment. I Copied the posting rule 3 times for the different costs as well as the function that get the GL account. I was also starting to implement your recent suggestion as well. I was concerned however with the “No Summery” option. It would appear it affects all posting rules not just the one I was looking at? I would need to see if that would be an issue if that the case.
Oh….that almost seems too easy. I am going to give that a go in Dev and see what does (or doesn't) happen! Thanks. I’ll post back with results.
We went from Epicor 9.05.702A (Progress) to 10.1.500 about 2 years ago. We were heavily customized. Fortunately Epicor provides a Semi-Fixed fee upgrade (Around 15k). This process makes an effort to uplift what it can and make the conversions. You will also be provided a online tool that will help to convert the ABL to Linq. In addition you will get 2 versions of the database returned to you. One will have all your customization (working or not) the other just your data. You can initially have your users test out the Vanilla (Data Only) and see how much they complain. Maybe you get lucky and 75% of the customization are NEW added functionality. The remaining requests maybe simple conversions. Our Canadian facility went Vanilla and just rebuilt was was needed.
