I've written a BPM that send up an exception when certain part numbers are entered on Sales Orders, based on our part number nomenclature. Unfortunately, over the years this nomenclature hasn't been strictly adhered to, so I'm having to get "extra" to exclude the correct parts and cannot get a wildcard to work correctly in a condition. For example, a standard part number may be something like A1454C-3-CI, where the "-3-" refers to the part category. Those are easy to exclude. However, there's also ones like A1454C-3PBA-CI, so I'm trying to get it to trigger on part numbers that contain "-3%-", but that string doesn't work. It doesn't like my percent sign between the 3 and the dash. Works great in a BAQ, but can't get it to work in the BPM, even though it doesn't throw any syntax errors. Is there a different wildcard that I should be using than % (already tried both * and ^ to no different results).
Hello, I am new to both Epicor and EUG. However, I have worked in a number of systems and with a few user groups, in my 30+ years, so after searching for an answer here, without luck, I am going to ask.First, my reason for asking is that with all the supply chain issues, and a two person staff being down to one, until I was hired last week, we are very behind in placing PO’s. We have many shortages for jobs that we would like to release to the floor. I am working on a BAQ that will identify shortages, any open PO’s, etc. In doing so, I am trying to determine the PO Release Code definitions. From the interface, I am finding that C = Closed, O = Open, V = Voided. However, M also appears to equal Closed, but there must be something more to it, like perhaps Matched (to an invoice). Any help would be appreciated. - Todd
Looks like they updated the cloud server and my client no longer matches. Usually when I log in if there is a need for updates it starts copying client files but I can’t see a way to trigger that. I looked in the C:\Epicor\GOV\2xxxx-LIVE\Client folder but did not see anything except AutoUpdate which gave me an error about not finding default.sysconfig in the config subfolder. There is one there but it is prefixed with our SaaS instance number. I know I have resolved this before but never for a Cloud setup. Any hints? I’m dead in the water.Thanks,-Todd C.
We recently started running MRP as a scheduled task. I would like to have my client contact reschedule it with logging turned on for MRP and Scheduling but Help is not very clear about where the log file is put when running in a Cloud environment. In System Agent Maintenance I can see the Client Directory name ending in the site ID but this does not tell me much about where to find a log file. It looks a bit like a URL rather than a directory.Sorry about all the cloud questions, the differences take a little getting used to.-Todd C.
How do I set the Plant and Warehouse on a newly created PO Release to be the same site as the Ship To on the PO Header, as well as the default warehouse for that site? The system defaults to setting it to the current site signed into, rather than the site chosen on the PO Header when a new PO Release is created (whether through creation of a new line or a new release on an existing line). Currently on Public Cloud version 2021.1.11
