I am wanting to install 2023.2 on my test environment but also want to keep my 2022.2.28 instance for any current version testing. It seems when I do the 2023 install it overwrites my 2022.2.28 items in Admin Console and I see no option to get the database or appserver back. If I try to add the db it only gives me the option of my old 10.2.500 or the new Kinetic 11.2.400. No 11.2.200 for the Kinetic 2022.2.Can we not have both versions on a test environment? If we can, does anyone have the path to a document that lays out how to do this?Thank you,Melissa
10.2.700 being DMT-loaded in a re-implementation from Vantage 5.The starting order number, XaSyst.StartOrderNum has only six digits, although order numbers are allowed with up to nine digits. I need new orders in the target E10 system to start 1870001 which is a seven digit number.Help says the new order numbers generated will be the greater of StartOrderNum or 1 + the last order’s number on file. However this doesn’t actually seem to be happening. When I DMT-load orders such as 1639663, they now exist in the new system, but when I create a new order in Order Entry, the numbers created are in sequence of my earlier test orders which I’ve deleted. In other words, I earlier entered and deleted five orders and Order Entry creates order 6, even with seven-digit order numbers already loaded into the system.Does anyone know where this sequence is being maintained, and how I can force an order into the system with a specific order number? Thanks much!
Does anyone use the CRM module? We have had it for a while but never really set it up and used it. I can’t find any documentation or training videos for setup and use.In playing around with it in our Pilot environment, I managed to create a new marketing list and used the marketing list generator to filter the results and exported them to my list. Here’s where I am lost - how do I actually use the list? There are no actual addresses that I could use to do a mailed campaign, or email addresses that I could use to do an email campaign. It just gives me the CustID, ShipToNum, ContactNum and Name. What am I missing here?
Hello folks, Is it possible to search in BAQ results? For example, I have a report with some information regarding a list of part numbers. I would like to search for a specific part number within the BAQ results (without exporting to Excel). Is this possible? Thanks,Arno
Hello,It’s been a while folks, hope everyone is doing well. I just changed Epicor customers actually, now I’m a Lincoln Electric man haha. The IssueWe’re trying to update price lists for our customers, and until now the price was stored in the part record. Now, we want to use a BAQ to pull the current listed prices of all parts in Erp.Part, transform that into a price list, and import that into Epicor from Excel. BUT, when I tried to import my file, I got a data format error. My Attempted WorkaroundI tried to export a current price list, but unlike a Supplier Price List, which prompts the user for an export location, the customer price list export process fires off successfully and doesn’t state where it put the file. I’ve been combing Epicor config/maint screens looking for a file path to no avail.I’ve looked in ProgramData both in the client and server app locations, came up zilch. QuestionsDoes anyone have a dummy customer price list CSV or TEXT file they could send me? OR Does any
We have a need to expedite an update of Epicor from 10.2.500.19 to 10.2.700.9. I reviewed the Release Guides and Feature Highlights for .600 and .700. Other than some of the financial updates in .600 I didn't see much else that was applicable. Our Finance group is the one pushing this update to implement DocStar AP Automation. Consequently, they are ready, willing & able to test the release. The other departments however are not as eager or “available”. So my question is, can we perform this update with little UAT? We are a little heavy on the customizations (Service Connect, C#, Linq, Handhelds, APM etc). I spun up a new app server with 10.2.700.9. I tested the integrations of service connect and the reports and everything seems to be running as expected.
We are receiving emails from the Epicor Users Community every couple of seconds. Anyone know what’s going on?
