Has the remaining quantity of 9 been received or are they sitting as Arrived in the PO Receipt tracker. If they are in a status of Arrived, simply click the check box on the receipt line that indicates the quantity has been received and has not simply arrived. There is a difference in these 2 statuses. Arrived simply means it is in the building. Received means it is available to the inspection process and can be invoiced.Glenn Owers
Karen,Another option could be a mis-match within the PartWhse or PartBin tables. I know in 10.2.400 there is a Refresh PartBin QoH from PartTran on the System Management → Upgrade/Mass Regeneration menu. Have you ran this recently? If you have a discrepancy between a table or two, it may cause the error message to display which you are seeing.Another option is the Refresh Part Quantities and Allocations on the same menu.Glenn
Daniel,We moved off of E905.700c this past January 2020. Prior to that we had major issues with MRP running anywhere from 5-6 hours upto 20 hours. We decided to run MRP in NetChange mode for Monday to Thursday and a Full Regeneration on either Friday evening or on Saturday to help us minimize the impact to our user community. Even our NetChange process ran into the 14 hour range near the end of our E9 usage. Are you seeing the increase in processing time only on the Regen process or on the Net Change process?I can tell you that with 10.2.400.9 we are running Net Change in less than 60 minutes most nights and even our Full Regeneration process is only taking on average less than 2 hours. It’s amazing the performance you can get from Epicor by just removing the Progress overhead!!Glenn

Thanks Simon for the feedback. As far as I can tell, the file was written by a consulting company that we used during our Epicor implementation and prior to my employment. I have no documentation on what they did, how they did it, but was able to find the Electronic Interface table and the .r file on the Epicor server. I just scanned for the .p file in the same folder, but I cannot find it. I can see a number of .p and .r files but the 2 .r files that we use to transmit the data to our banks, does not have a .p file.Take care Simon,------------------------------Glenn OwersERP Business AnalystSafran Electronics CanadaPeterborough ON705-743-6903 x231------------------------------
Shawn / Josh,Thanks for the information. I have found that a Review Journal was created and indicates my assets are 'out of balance'.As I created the assets as Miscellaneous, I did not create the Misc. Addition and check the Inter-Group checkbox. Once I did this and added some data, the item's depreciation has been created and the information posted. Thanks again for your insights, as it did get me to where I needed to go, at least for these first steps.I may have more questions related to this topic as I get further into my testing.------------------------------Glenn OwersERP Business AnalystSafran Electronics CanadaPeterborough ON705-743-6903 x231------------------------------

Thanks Simon.I positioned my mouse by the OK and Cancel buttons and with a right-click, got access to the Customization option. Now, do you know of an easy way to create a filter on this screen, through customization, to allow only select items to be displayed, based on the Lifecycle status value? Thanks for your help, so far.------------------------------Glenn OwersERP Business AnalystSafran Electronics CanadaPeterborough ON705-743-6903 x231------------------------------
Simon,When I right-click on the form, these are the only options displayed:Thanks for your response.------------------------------Glenn OwersERP Business AnalystSafran Electronics CanadaPeterborough ON------------------------------
Thanks to all for responding.I believe I will have to try the "Reset Layouts to Base" and then reload the favorites if they get wiped.I did try several times with a couple of different user-id's on the same PC and I could get things to work and display properly when my id was used. When the user of the PC signed on, the E9 menus would not behave in the same manner, so I knew it had something to do with the E9 user-id and not everyone that used the PC.Have a great day.------------------------------Glenn OwersERP Business AnalystSafran Electronics CanadaPeterborough ON705-743-6903 x231------------------------------
Thanks Vinay,This is the answer I was looking for.Second question:This user has somehow hidden or removed the right hand side of the Epicor Menu system and has the Favorites on top of the Menu box. However, within the Menu box, when you click on the General Operations of Shipping & Receiving, the only way to display the options under that heading is to turn on Tree View. There is no right hand menu display showing all of the options under the menu item selected (ie. General Operations)Do I need to reload Epicor on this PC to get the menu system back to the original format, and then copy all of the favorites back for the user or is there another way to see the right side of the menu system so the user knows the options available under the General Options and Report menus?I have no idea how the user has hidden the menu screen. I do know that you can Pin the menu window to Hide, Float, or Auto Hide, but once you hide it, how can you Unhide it? Thanks for all your help.-------------
