We had a similar issue several years ago but this doesn’t sound the same. I’ll share our issue with you just in case it helps. For us, MRP stopped running and we found that it was due to the prefix on our unfirmed jobs. Our Prefix was “UXXXXX” and had been for a couple of years. The change was that we entered a new customer that started with “U” and for some reason the conflict between the two “U’s” caused MRP to stop running. We changed our unfirmed job prefix to “UNFXXXX” ran MRP and our jobs generated in the fulfillment workbench as expected. Hope you find answers soon!
Hi - Do you run MRP? If you have it defined, what is your unfirmed job prefix?
We started with Sharepoint which was AWFUL (uploading, downloading, saving revisions = YIKES!) and eventually transitioned to an excel RAIL which still wasn’t effective enough for the complexity and everyone’s preferences. Since then I have started using CLICKUP which is more robust than most task-type software plus it works with anyone’s work style - List View, Calendar View, Gantt, Kanban Cards.
HI Gary,We are using 10.2.600 and when we updated the Resource Group Burden Rates the financial impact at Time & Expense Entry was immediate even on open jobs. I was quite surprised that the new rates would pull thru to actuals for job costing even when a job is engineered and released, but it does in our version. I did a quick test by entering time to a production job, then changing the burden rate, entered more time and the second entry was the new burden rate. What does not change is the burden rate in the actual job screen, which means that estimates will be utilizing the older rate. I’ll be curious if you get the same results. ~ Connie

Hello - You might try Extended Code 39 for the barcode. I believe that’s what worked for us at GoLive.
We are also A&D and completed our initial implementation with Cre8tive Technology and Design (Epicor Partner). They have a “vertical” for A&D which includes many different customizations to support A&D requirements, including FlowDowns like Prime Contract and DFARS, etc. These “QA Clauses” are initiated at the contract level and flow from SO, to Job to PO for NON-Stock Parts (Purchase Direct Materials). Once it’s setup it works easily and accurately and the same part could have a different set of flowdowns for different contracts since the control is not at the part level.
HI! It is the week of May 23rd and if they have Extended Education that would likely be May 21 & 22.
Doug -We had a similar issue but it was happening with all of our parts. We found the issue to be our Backward Scheduling Start Time. I believe the default schedule is 12 AM (Midnight) so in order to have the job complete by 12 AM it actually had to be finished the day before and therefore every job was scheduling to be done 1 day early. We changed our default Backward Scheduling Start Time to 12 PM in Site Maintenance > Detail > Planning and now jobs are completed according to their Req By Date.Connie Peters
HI Kati! We had a similar issue and I haven’t tested the data fix from Epicare yet but the basics is that using the miscellaneous invoice is not going to work. This is from Epicare: “It appears that because the deposit was done on a misc invoice and and not Deposit Billing there is no tranGLC found for the deposit amount. I am hopeful this data fix will insert the missing record to allow this to post. I am not sure if you will have to delete the invoice group and recreate it or if it will fix it in the unposted state.” This is my Epicare Case number if you can look at this it might help CS0002525843.After a lot of testing and attempts to cancel it with paid consulting it appears the only option is the data fix. Good Luck! Connie
