I tried to fix the bin QTY but it had no effect. It looks like the Inv Xfer is creating a kind of phantom warehouse that doesn’t actually exist. The Dale Rd WH only exists at XDALERD, nit in MfgSys.No need to reverse, as it was just in our PILOT env. I wasn’t about to move that much material without testing the process first. I’ll take a look at the options you gave.I’m wondering if I can convert the already created WH into a shared WH. I will test that out.Yes - they definitely should have. I wrote a step-by-step SOP for that process and gave it to them along with a screen capture video of it, so I’m not sure why they though they could just put it on a truck and physically move it without moving it in Epicor...I’ll test using the DMT for the TO/TO Shipment/TO Recpt process as well - though I should probably make them fix their own mistakes to teach them a) how to do it, b) not to do it incorrectly again, and c) a lesson…I worry about method c because we are FIFO and making sure all th
@calvind that’s kind of what I thought, just crossing my t’s and dotting my i’s before I confirm with my team we are S out of luck on that front. thx
@slepley @calvind - I did get the OK to swap out the current ZBAQ w/ the new one, do either of you know if there is a way to permanently resize and move the placement of the BAQ Zone window? Or does it always pop up, the same size, in the upper left corner of the triangle at the end of the field? I looked at the Ice Guide and Customization guide to refresh my brain and I see you can use customization to “embed” the Zone BAQ instead of going through Ext Prop, but I didn’t see a way to further customize. It does not look like users can use the personalizations to resize the window and save the layout either because they disappear the second you click away. Any workarounds/fixes, or are we out of luck on this method?
@slepley I have never set up a quick search before, and I’m not sure of the steps there. We are already using the BAQ Zone on the PartDtl.PartNum to help our CSR’s find the initial part number and provide other useful data on it. Replacing the BAQ there with the Alternate Parts BAQ I created would probably send our customer service department into a tailspin and get me burned at the stake. They are not so good with change.
@slepleySystem Setup > System Mtce > Ext PropertiesEnter the Table (Part), Expand the Fields and Find the one you want (in this case PartNum)There is a Zone BAQ field where you can select a BAQ you created (in our case a BAQ that has the part numbers, their on hand qty and cost info)On the Part.PartNum filed in Part Entry, there will now be a black triangle at the end of the field. If you start typing a part number, then hover over the triangle, a list of parts that begin with what you typed should pop up.
@slepley looking forward to more info, thank you @calvind we do have a BAQ Zone on part already to help them find the initial part, thanks for the suggestion
Yes the funds settled at the close of business the same day. We really needed to ship the order so I ended up creating an updatable BAQ to uncheck order hold and to change the expiration year on the credit card. Even though we were not able to edit the order itself, the updatable BAQ did ram the changes through and we were able to commence with shipping, closing and invoicing the order. thank you.
Ah - OK, I get it now. Thanks.
I never made it that far. I wanted to make sure that I could first retrieve the correct data for the main customer contacts before adding more tables and complicating things even more.I had 269 open orders on OrderHed before joining tables. I joined OrderHed to CustCnt (Relations: Company/Company, CustID/CustID, PrcConNum/ConNum) and did not retrieve the same number of records as expected. The BAQ did not retrieve the correct contact based on PrcConCNum on order, it retrieved multiple contacts. No point adding the ShipTo table into the mix at this point, when there is clearly already something amiss.
Success! Thank you so much :D
Thank you - It’s definitely our custom report style and not the default. I swapped our “MyCheckBox” with “CheckBox11” but I received an error when uploading the updated report style. Maybe I screwged something up?
Great - thank you for all of your help! Much appreciated
Ok - I thought I tried doing that already, with Customer as the TopLevel and QuoteHed the InnerSub, but I will double check. Are you also saying that if I want to include more fields off of the QuoteHead, I just have to bring turn them into calc fields?
I’m able to get the list of the CustNum and Count of QuoteNum’s, but I can’t bring any additional fields in or I get an error. I can’t filter with the subquery criteria or I get an error. I can join the customer table either directly or as an innersubq, but I can’t bring any of the fields in or I get an error. I must be doing something wrong.
I am looking for customers who’ve only been quoted once. I know how to create a subquery, but I do not know how to go about grouping by custnum or applying count parameters..
Yes, I’m downloading the new Kinetic one now, it’s been about 5 minutes and I’m only about 75% downloaded. That’s with a high speed fiberoptic connection. This might be one reason why, lol. I’ve bookmarked the Kinetic documentation download page as well...
Ahaaaaaa - there’s all of the missing (useful) information! I didn’t dig out my user guide, but I did peruse the application “help” and found it not so helpful, as per usual. Thank you!!
While I’m waiting on something to run. . . Here’s an example for your subquery: And hook it up something like this: See if that helps. Joe Is there a way to get the OrderHed.OrderNum field onto the SubQuery w/o breaking everything when you do it this way? I put this in a Dash for my users and would like them to be able to right click in to the order.I suppose I could add a second BAQ to the Dash that is linked to the CustID and shows all the sales orders for them when that row is clicked as a work around. That might even be better.
For anyone after who needs this info - here’s the calculated field for how many days since last order
not sure how I missed that big, bold group by checkbox… thanks!
dumb question - how do I “group by”?
