In Data Collection 2023.2 how do you get to settings to change themes? Actually I cannot find a way to do this in 2021.2.5 either. Some of our shop floor users are stuck in NightWing and would like to lighten up.
We are in the process of testing 2023.1 with plans to upgrade our production environment in February. Today we tested inspection plans and found a problem with the way the Enter Results screen is formatting in Data Collection. Here is what the inspection plan Enter Results looks like for Final Inspection in Pilot 2023.1 Data Collection – a horizontal row (a very long row) image817×181 6.78 KB Here is an example what the inspection plan looks like in 2023.1 Inspection Plan Configurator Test Inputs. This is also what it looks like in Production 2021.2.5 Data Collection. This is happening to all inpsection plans ans is not acceptable since the inspection text is missing. Does anyone know how we can get it to look like this in 2023.1 Data Collection? I do not seem to be able to locate whatever setting is controlling this. image817×750 52.2 KB
Since Kinetic 2023.1/2023.2 only luanches the inspection plan specification and no longer luanches the inspection plan configurator in Results Entry in Data Collection We are trying to use the specification plan entry that is there. Here is what it currently looks like.Does anyone know how I can change the order of the Attributes in the row? It is displaying them in alphabetical order of the AttributeID. Changing the tab stop number in the conficurator or in the specification has no affect. Is there anything other than recreating the AttributeIDs in the inspection plan that can be done to change the order.? Cannot just edit the Attribute ID.
Hello, Is there a way to get a copy of this presentation? Wbinar was on Wed, Feb 21, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM. It was really good and I would like to share with others on my team.
Trying to locate and if possible retreive parts lost in inspection processing transaction. We had 3 inventory nonconfomances created for the same part. All were passed in inspection processing. One of the NCRs looks good with a STK-INS and INS-STK transaction. The other 2 have STK-INS and INS-ASM transactions. The problem is that there are no jobs for these to go to. Where should I look to find these parts and how do I get them back into inventory? Part Transaction History shot below.
We are struggling with finding time for IT to do system maintenance. We have not been able to find a good window where one shift or another is not scheduled to work. We have concluded that we will need to have people track their labor activitieson paper and then upload via DMT. We have been told that even if Data Collection is on another server people will still be bumped off when SQL server maintenance is done. I am curious as to how other businesses manage this?
I’ve read alot of the articles here as well as parts of the Epicor Scheduling Tecnical reference Guide. I kind of feel like there is not a good answer to my question but heres my story. We created a dashboard that is modelled on the Shop Tracker but it is a historical record of Who’s Here, Who’s Not Here, and added Who’s Late, Who Left Early, Who’s out >35 minutes, Who Worked Overtime. We are required to track and report the number of lates, left earlies and ovetime. We have a variety of shifts. Most are 4 days x 10 Hours but some are 3 day x 12 hours, 5 days x 8 hours and even one that is 2 days x 10 hours. One of the things that supervisors are complaining about with using the dashboard is that when an employee on a 4x10 shift is asked to work overtime on the 5th work day, they can come in at any time. Say the shift starts at 6:00 AM but because this employee is coming in on his day off he can come in at 8:00 AM. Because shifts do not have specific days these employees always show up
Finance runs Capture COS/WIP every week. This results in situations where the labor record in Time & Expense cannot be recalled to adjust the scrap qty when errors have been made. This is for scrap not NCR/DMR. A few things we have tried:Not allowed to enter a negative scrap qty from MESNot allowed to enter a negative scrap qty from a new Time & Expense detail record.Cannot adjust scrap qty from Job Adjust.Does anyone know a way to adjust the scrap qty in an operation if labor has already been pulled? We are a foundry so we experience a fair amount of scrap. Would LOVE to find a way to adjust scrap qtys.Thank you for your help.
We have some employees who are material handlers (they issue material at point of use in the shop), who continue to mistakenly issue from a Supplier Managed bin when they should be issuing from the bin in their area. This is causing headaches for purchasing, finance and the supplier. Is there a way to restrict transactions from a supplier managed bin to a select group of employees? We have trained and retrained and still they make this mistake. The bins have very different names 0002 vs FUTURE. Looking for guidance.
Seeing this error when trying to save 1 qty nonconformance on a 1qty job in Data Collection. NCR was not created. Serial number confirmed toi hav 1 qty assigned. Was able to create the nonconformance from the ERP system. What does this error mean?
Can I use Dashboard filters to set a dashboard to show only dates greater than 24 months ago? If so, how?For example, I have a dashbaord that shows customer shipments. I want to add a tab that shows only shipment with shipment dates that are older than 24 months.
How can employees start production for multiple jobs at one time? Using Data Collection.
WHat is the correct use of these things? What, specifically does each do?Planner Workbench vs Prodution Planning Workbench vs Job Status Maintenance vs Job Manager
We are in process of implementing Kinetic 2021.2.5, building dashboards. Part of our business is a foundry. One of our key metrics is the cost of scrap. DMR is not required for scrap until the part is in metal so some scrap is done without NCR / DMR. Does anyone have a good way to track job scrap cost? We have not been successful in locating this data even with the help of our operations, finance, and tools consultants. Seems like someone else would be tracking this as well?
