I think i am going mad. Has there ever been in EPICOR an Inspection Required tick box on Part Entry?
Hi guys, have a brain fade moment, where is this set? I know it is on Part class as None, Warn and Stop but is it set anywhere else? We use LotFIFO if that makes a difference?
OK we are testing AMM in Kinetic, when doing Issue (to) or Return Material (From) it is asking for a warehouse which is presumably some sort of WIP Warehouse (Where you are issuing it to and where you are returning it from). Can anyone shed a light as to where this is setup? Many thanks.
We have the following issue with Mass Receipts in Kinetic, is this a know issue in 10/Kinetic or have we found a bug? We are looking at Mass receipts and when we select multiple lines for a particular receipt we can set the to location on all lines but when we select Get Next Lots it only gets one of the selected lines not all of them. What i have noticed is that if you have 3 lines selected it will load all 3 lot numbers onto the first line.Mass receipts is our default way of receipting. Cheers.
Guys, i am trying to get my head around this as i have not used FWB for many years. We want to use this to pick and pack customer shipments but for the life of me i cannot remember how it is done. I guess this would also apply to Jobs etc.. Can someone let me know how the process goes? Thanks

Has anyone got a report or sql code that list all the users that are assigned to a menu security code? I have code that lists the Groups by Menu Item but need that broken down as users by menu security code and can’t get my head around it
I have had a request from our new Head of Finance asking if there is an invoiced not received report/tracker? This is what she has asked - “Each month we run the report in Epicor ‘Received not invoiced’ which shows items where we have GRN’d a PO, but the invoice has not yet been received. Is there a corresponding report showing ‘goods invoiced not received’? When I look at the GL transactions I can see invoices being booked to the GRNI code, so without the corresponding GRN it stays as a balance on the GL account. However as its not on the first report we effectively write these items off each month rather than check if they are correct or not. Can we reconcile?” I am not aware of a report, can anyone advise? Cheers guys and gals.
We are currently doing a bit of a tidy of our system and one of the things we have looked at it is Salespersons, we had a massive list of people in Salesperson on the Customer and i understand that this is linked to Workforce IDs. We made the Workforce IDs inactive of those people who were not Salespeople however we then had an issue were people who needed access to Customer Entry no longer had access to the Customer. Is there a way around this? Thanks.
To anyone who is using Epicor Mfg Wireless Warehouse, what handheld devices are you using it on? Cheers.
We have thousands of part in Inspection Processing where processes have not been followed correctly in the past, We need to remove all of these and was wondering if there is a simple way of doing this, it quite literally is looking for a way to purge the lot.
We have had issues for some time with MRP in that over the space of 2 weeks the time increases from around 5 to 6 hours up to 13/14/15 hours to run. We have to restart our server every 2 weeks to correct the issue.I am thinking if i run a Trace on the locks when MRP is running it will identify any locks we may have when this is running which may help identify the issue however is there a list of tables anywhere that MRP uses when running as it may be that there are indexes that are all over the place on those tables. Any Help would be appreciative.
All, I am after so help as we are experiencing massive issues with the above and at one point 2 weeks ago i had to run the FixBinAll and Conversion 6430 every other day for a week and a half.I know we are still on E9 and that is why we are getting absolutely no-where with EPICOR but at the moment we are using a system that quite frankly is not fit for purpose. What i want to know is how many people still have issues with the above, how frequently you have the issues and which version of EPICOR you are on?We are just staring the upgrade roadmap to 10 and we are looking to introduce many other EPICOR offerings to the business but this does not seem to matter to them as they keep saying there is nothing we can do. Any information/help from you guys would be appreciated.
How do other people handle sales from Inventory? We have some customers where we sell parts from Inventory and our finance people are wondering how we report the cost of Sales from anything sold from Inventory. What are other businesses doing?Finance want to create jobs for inventory sales which to me seems like a lot of extra needless work where you could just issue from Inventory to the SO.HELP!------------------------------Daniel WhiteERP ManagerSurface Technology International LimitedHook01256740820EPICOR - 9.05.700C------------------------------
