I tried the following but does not seem to work - image866×598 33.3 KB
Hi Tim, It was that, i had completely forgot we were not using the out of the box menu option for Order Entry.
Turns out my function was lacking a few ‘Results’!
Not sure what i am doing wrong as i have done the below(For some reason if i added to the top i was not getting the correct alignment) and all i am getting in the review journal is the line number-
Yes, that is much safer Hi Paul, Thanks for your help on this, it works fine in our Kinetic Test Bed. One question our Finance Team have asked is can i put it into our E9 environment so that they can make use of the added information until go live on Kinetic.I have noticed that there is no Customisation Tab in the E9 posting rule. Below is the std rule for PUR-UKN for E9, where would you suggest i add my custom code?
Great thanks for your help Paul. Now to test it
Could i change it to -Transaction Text = ‘PUR-UKN’ + ‘PartTran Info Missing’ or something like that?
Hi Paul, Something like this?
Would this work?Would the above work? Do i need to change, add anything to it?
In my last company I am 100% sure we had it on Part Entry (Now this may be because of a Customisation or something (9.05.606)) Was it part of any additional module?
All ‘Live’ data will be imported via DMT which will enable us to only take over what we need to and from a financial point of view start from a clean slate. We have roughly 20 years of data on the system which may or may not be correct!
We are currently going through an new implementation of Kinetic. We are on 9.05.700C and we used the Cirrus Upgrade process to migrate our initial data to start with. Whilst it did throw up some errors, these were expected by EPICOR (Changes between progress field setups and SQL setups etc..)We are now doing a full blown new implementation so wont be using the Cirrus Upgrade process again i don’t believe.
I have just seen it is on the Resource Groups as Input and Output Warehouse
This is being fixed in 2021.1.10 which is due for release 25/08/21.
Hi Tim, I have raised this with Support who have replicated the issue and confirmed it is a bug with the Kinetic process. A problem number is being raised with the view of getting this corrected.
Monty, I ran the report over a smaller time frame which enabled it to run and looking at the XML for that Line 333 is the line where all the ‘Data’ fields start to be brought in. Example below, line 333 is <Company> <Company> <RptLanguageID>enu</RptLanguageID> <AllowDefaultDoc>true</AllowDefaultDoc> <AttachDefaultMechanism>3</AttachDefaultMechanism> <BitFlag>0</BitFlag> <Company>STI</Company> <CurrentFiscalYear>1980</CurrentFiscalYear> <EnableFileSys>false</EnableFileSys> <EnableSharePoint>false</EnableSharePoint> <FiscalCalendarID>CompCal</FiscalCalendarID> <Name>Surface Technology Intl Ltd</Name> <ReportTypePref>Crystal</ReportTypePref> <SysRevID>210470000</SysRevID> <SysRowID>df2e5dc5-8674-c1af-e211-c0da1ba21329</SysRowID>
HI Tim, Thanks for the response. This is the standard O.O.B. Inv/WIP report and you reply about the limit in the crystal report stacks up with what i have read elsewhere.Unfortunately we do not have SSRS setup in 9. Daniel
How are you processing the invoices that you are paying prior to receipt? unreceived line, advanced billing I will update when i have found out as that question has crossed my mind as well.
I think i may not have explained myself correctly, our Salespeople are External Sales People, they do not use Customer Entry or Tracker etc.. We have internal account managers who then manage the Customers and Sales Orders on EPICOR however as these people are not marked as Sales People and do not have a Workforce ID they cannot get to the Customers to manage them.
Some of the PO Receipts seem to be specific parts that they have created for tooling, Fairs etc that are buy to job but they seem to have gone into inspection and sat there! I have bits there from 2013
Hi Scott @slepley , To be honest that could be anybodies guess, that is the issue. The processes have not been followed in any sense of the word and i need to start looking at clear up of data for when we move to E10. Quality Processes seem to have not been followed (If there were ever any to follow) and data integrity is poor across a lot of areas. It looks as though on a couple i have looked at this morning that PO Receipts seem to have gone into inspection but the process has never been followed through. These could have been either to stock or job receipts and a lot of them are many years old. Daniel
We have the issue on both although we only run ReGen on a Sunday Afternoon/evening, we run Net Change Monday Night to Thursday Night and even with a day of no changes that would cause MRP changes the time increases.
Hi Daniel I’ve experienced the same pain in previous companies on E9. This was a weekly task on a database where the process you mention took 1-8 hours to run depending on how out of sync the tables had gotten. Tim And that is also where the issue lies, running both of those processes takes up to 8 hours and i am sure that you should not be performing transactions while those processes are running (I may have got that bit wrong)
I have noticed some recent issues that have occurred when our night shift have been doing transactions. The only process that runs at that time is our MRP, surely that would not cause the issue?
