swilson, We saw this in 2022.2 and reported it. It is fixed in 2023.2. It may have been fixed sooner. We upgraded from 2022.2 to 2023.2 in January 2024. Here is the text from our Case Jorge Guerra 2023-09-22 16:29:48 Hello Mike, I hope you are doing great today. After reviewing this internally I can confirm that this functionality was available in 10.2.700. However, when the 2022 version was launched it was determined that the WIP would not be consumed anymore. This is working as designed, hence we could not declare that this is a flaw in the system. It was after receiving feedback from our clients that this functionality was brought back at the moment of launching the 2023 version, in the form of a checkbox in the Site Configuration Maintenance, so the customers can decide whether they want to have the WIP consumed or not. My suggestion is to upgrade your version, as we discussed before. Thank you for your understanding. Mike

brenzema, We implemented EKW in the spring of 2021. We are primarly are using EKW for order picking and just starting to use EKW for inventory moves and picks for jobs. We utilize fulfillment workbench to create material queue records. Devices: we are using Honeywell EDA71s. We like these units for thier price point and screen size. We just receive 2 Honeywell CT45XPs to fill our need for a device with a longer range scanner. We will be placing the CT45XPs in server in the next few weeks. Customization: We have not customzed EKW, we did implement a data directive on PartTran to automate Part Label Printing. We also created a BPM to pop up a message on the handheld for certain part needs. The BPM setup took a little assistance from Biscuit & Epicor. Timeline: We implemented EKW in 2-3 months with other changes to our order picking process. We also implement outbound PCIDs as part of the process changes. Issues\Challenges: There are many settings and features in EKW on the

Epicor told us the Kinetic code in 10.2.600 is the cause of some \ most of the change in performance from 10.2.300. However, we are not using any of the Kinetic screens. We are hosted by Epicor (Private Cloud). Epicor recently switched us from TCP to HTTPS for client connections. We have see some improvement with HTTPS.
Hello, What version of Epicor are you running. We upgrade from 10.2.300 to 10.2.600 and have experience 30 -40 % performance degradation.Do you runEpicor on-premise or is it hosted? Mike
Eugene, I was unable to find a report or Dashboard to display our entries. So, we created a Dashboard to display our Forecast Entries. It was a basic BAQ and Dashboard. Mike

Bkyle, We are on 10.2.600 and hosted by Epicor Private Cloud. The Epicor Private Cloud team instructed us not to use Kinetic on 10.2.600 as it is not ready for production use. Sounds like it is best to wait for the 11 release to roll out Kinetic. Mike
.
We upgraded to 10.2.600 last fall. Kinetics in 10.2.600 is not ready for production use. Epicor will tell you Kinetic performance is not good in 10.2.600, better in 10.2.700, and comparable to the current UI in 11. At the WI Users group meeting last week Epicor Present the latest on Kinetics in 11. Mike
